Michelle Primo Cronin’s Fight against Osteosarcoma Cancer!
Story
Being from Monaca, the average graduating class had maybe 75-100 students. Everyone knew everyone! With that being said, we all know Michelle Primo Cronin. If you don’t, you are missing out on knowing a friendly, beautiful, intelligent, and the most kind person. Recently, some of you have already heard the devastating news about Michelle’s health. She has been diagnosed with a rare, very aggressive form of cancer called osteosarcoma. It started in the backside of her upper right thigh. It has metastasized to both lungs, requiring oxygen. It has also been determined that after 7 weeks with the dentist, periodontist, endodontist, and maxillofacialists, the cancer is in her mouth. In her 56 years, she’s never even had a cavity. But now she has had 3 front teeth extracted and extremely painful masses, making eating difficult at the least. Michelle spent 14 days at AGH Main. She has started chemo. There will be multiple tests and other injections in between the every 3 weeks of inpatient, 3 to 5 day chemo treatments at AGH Main. Right now, Michelle is asking for prayers for her body to respond to the treatments and for her husband, Dan, her children, Emily, Alec, Maddie, Ben, and Grace, her father, and family.
We want to help Michelle and her family from the high cost of co-pays, non-covered medications, gas for the numerous trips back and forth to appointments, the obvious time off work, help with bills, food, and items to alleviate any stress that this wonderful family might have on them, allowing them to focus on each other at this time.
